Registering for the Conference
The conference registration fee does NOT includes accommodation costs or transport to the conference site. Accommodation links can be found on the Accommodations page.
The full registration fee for ISSS (Sunday July 24 - Saturday July 30) includes:
- The program/abstract book
- Lunches Monday through Friday
- ISSS membership fees for 2017
- Tea/coffee breaks from Monday to Friday.
- Please also note: Registration fees are being collected to cover the cost of alcohol for receptions and/or banquet dinners.
The 60th Annual Meeting of ISSS will be held in Boulder, Colorado, USA, July 24 - 30, 2016.
There is a Workshop day on Sunday 24th of July, followed by the Welcome reception on Sunday evening at 6 p.m. For the workshops on Sunday July 24, if not registered for the whole week, these include tea/coffee (not lunch), and evening reception: $100.
There will be additional wrap-up meetings on Saturday 30 July for those wishing to plan additional on-going work on policy or other research agendas.
The accompanying Graduate Student Programme will take place beginning in Boulder (22 - 24 July), followed by attendance at the ISSS conference 25-30 July.
- Graduate students accepted onto the course should please register for the ISSS Conference using the Graduate Student Programme Registration rate. This rate includes a $100 contribution to the cost of the additional days and this cost does not include food or lodging prior to the main conference, or lodging during the main conference.
- Lunches and conference banquet dinner are included during the main conference week.
- A pre-conference accommodation and meals package will be available to book directly with the University.
- Credit Units will be an additional fee, further details available on request.
Accommodation for the ISSS conference can be booked separately through links on the ISSS website. There are a range of options available including University dormitories and local hotels.

Notes for the ISSS Conference fees:
Conference fees are set in US DOLLARS for ISSS2016.
Day registration rates include attendance at all sessions, lunch and coffee breaks on that day, and conference program. It does not include ISSS membership for 2017. If attending on the day of the Banquet, there will be an additional cost of $50 to be paid through selection of one additional banquet ticket during the registration process.
The cost for accompanying spouse/partner covers attendance at all sessions, and includes lunches. It does not cover conference materials or ISSS membership.
Refunds for the Conference
The ISSS makes every effort to keep the costs of the annual meeting as low as possible. Once a conference has been arranged there are fixed costs that the ISSS must pay, irrespective of the number of people attending the conference. For this reason, the ISSS cannot issue refunds outside the terms of its refund policy.

You should arrange appropriate travel or other insurance to cover any possibilities of loss through cancellation.

Changes to the category of registration will incur a $50 administration fee in addition to the new rate cost, to cover bank charges for changes and administration.
If you are unable to attend, the registration can be transferred to another individual to take your place and that person may present your work.
If you do not attend the conference and have not transferred your place to another person, all conference materials and membership for the following calendar year will be sent to you after the conference.
