The membership cycle for the ISSS is annual, January 1 through December 31.
If you registered for the annual ISSS meeting in Brisbane in 2009, your membership for 2010 was included in the conference fee. If you did not attend the 2009 conference, please download the form below and either mail or fax the form to the ISSS Office (address and telephone numbers are on the form).
The ISSS WebAdmin team is working towards special access to web content on a password-protected part of the ISSS site.
Special membership rates are available for retirees, students, and individuals in developing countries. An institutional category is also available.
Your membership includes the following benefits:
- One year (2010) subscription to Systems Research and Behavioral Science (including part 5, which is the Yearbook of the ISSS)
- The CDROM proceedings for 2010 if you do not attend the Brisbane conference.
- The 2010 edition of the General Systems Bulletin containing short papers, announcements and society information, and names and contact details for current members.
Membership in the ISSS includes the option for discounted journal subscriptions to:
- Systemic Practice & Action Research;
- Cybernetics & Human Knowing;
- International Journal of Organisational Transformation and Social Change; and
- Emergence: Complexity and Organization [E:CO]
In addition, you can signal your interest in a few specific Special Integration Groups, through a nominal donation.
The 2010 ISSS Membership Application Form (PDF format | Word format) is provided as a downloadable template, which can either be filled in with a word processor, or by hand. Signature for credit card charges is required and if you are student, you should also send a photocopy or scan of your student identification card.
